After commander college and a career as security officer he took a degree in finance and started his authorship. Eirik Wekre has always read a lot and his own favorites are Michael Connelly and Elmore Leonard. Influenced by this he writes stories that leads the reader to an analysis of the Norwegian society, its’ development and mentality. With a sharp eye he depictures the political game and the financial system and its’ rules. He understands the structures and points out who the real rulers are in a country characterized by economic wealth. In his writing Eirik Wekre shows how politics and economic development in a country influences on everyday life of the average citizen. The personal effects, that’s what Eirik Wekre wants to put the light on.
