Tim Burton
(born August 25, 1958) is an American film director, film producer, writer and artist.
Tim is the author of the million copy-selling The Undercover Economist and, among other books, Adapt: Why Success Always Starts with Failure and The Undercover Economist Strikes Back.
He has presented a number of BBC TV and radio programmes about economics or statistics, including Trust Me, I'm An Economist, Pop-Up Economics and the long-running More or Less. He has spoken at TED, PopTech, and the Sydney Opera House. Tim is a senior columnist for the Financial Times, and a visiting fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford. He lives in Oxford with his wife and three children.
